The Numerical Inversion of the Laplace Transform by rational functions (real-valued case)
Over the years, there have been several different methods for studying the inversion of the Laplace transform numerically with a considerable amount of research papers written on the subject and published in scientific journals.

This website presents new approximation methods for the inversion of the Laplace transform of continuous and bounded functions. The main feature is the a priori error estimate for the formulas when the function is not only continuous but also m-times differentiable. The result holds for vector-valued functions but we present the real-valued case here, see The Theory for more details.

The menu will guide you through this website. You will find a short description of the problem, including  the procedure to obtain different inversion formulas with the appropriate error estimates. References to the papers written are provided.
